3 Monkey Keemun

I never had a Keemun tea before, at least to my knowledge. Being used to Assams & Ceylons, I found this 3 Monkey variant quite unique.

It makes a relatively dark cup of tea with medium to full body. Has a good smell all the way around. The taste is very good too. I can't single anything out, but it does have a certain natural sweetness to it. It also has this special "twang" as I would call it, just a unique taste I've never had in a black tea before.

I'm mainly a Ceylon man, & for my 2nd order I got pretty much all Ceylon variants. However, because this 3 Monkey was so good, I got an oz. of the Panda #1 Keemun : Organic to try, & see if it's as good as the 3 Monkey.

So definitely a tea I would buy again to have as an option. I was very impressed with it.

Excellent tea. Great odor when you open the container - I get hints of chocolate, oak and something else I can't ID. The tea is a nice smooth flavor, not too much tannin. Really good for that first cup in the morning and excellent later as ice tea.

This is a really nice black tea. Medium to heavy body, not bitter.

I always order 3 Monkey Keemun. It's a medium to full-bodied unflavored black tea with a mellow flavor and a pleasant complex finish.
